Family-Owned Business
Landalynn Acres is a family farm started by two sisters who should have known better. We moved into our farm in the middle of winter, in Central New York, just prior to the arrival of 4' of snow in our driveway. We had two shovels and some very kind neighbors. That was our beginning.
We raise alpacas for fiber and fertilizer, and we grow organic produce. Our goal for Landalynn Acres is to provide safe and healthy opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and re-experiencing connection with the land. We believe in the healing power of nature, inclusivity, and being good stewards of the land.
ABOUT LANDALYNN ACRES
Our vision is that people will come to Landalynn Acres and their time on the land will change the way they see themselves and the world around them. Whether they find themselves while hiking the creek bed, watching the sun sink down into the mountains, or while stretching their hands through the inviting fleece of a friendly alpaca, we believe that nature heals us. We want to create a place where all people can find fresh air, simpler times, and friendly people. We have a small orchard of apple and pear trees, walking trails through the woods, a beaver dam that houses unknown numbers of tiny lumberjacks, all kinds of berries, and a store which carries alpaca products. We would love to show you around.
Relaxation in the Country
If you've never met an alpaca in real-life, you don't know what you're missing. These beautiful, curious, intelligent animals are the epitome of relaxation in motion. Enjoy a walk through the trails with one of our ladies, or stay in the yard and play with Tim and Bit, our Nigerian Dwarf Goats. It is almost impossible to hold stress and tiny goats simultaneously.
